About Choice
Choice is a 6:30-minute film written and directed by Gaurav Bakshi and stars Vineet Singh(Gangs of Wasseypur, Ugly) in primary role along with Aditi Kalkunte. Pramod Pathak and Juby Devasia. The movie is produced by Vinay Mishra, Pallavi Rohatgi, and Preety Ali. The movie was published on the official YouTube handle of Humaramovie.com.
Story
The short film revolves around two parallel stories. In the first one, a man is beating his wife and is later beaten up by a policeman, at whose house, the wife works as a maid. In the second story, a lawyer who is famous for taking up cases of violence against women is interviewed by a journalist. The thing to watch for in the movie is the link between the two stories.
Why to Watch
For reason number one, we already said that the link between the two stories is something to watch for. Apart from that, the use of sound cut and the effect to which color is used definitely is heart warming. Apart from the brilliant writing, the editing of the movie also is worth giving attention.
