About the Short

Teaspoon is a short movie published on Candid Creation’s Youtube channel. It stars Sree Swara Dubey, Vaquar Sheikh and Bomi Dotiwala in primary roles. It is written and directed by Aban Bharucha Deohans and it lengths a tad more than 20 minutes.

Story

The story of the movie revolves around the life of Kavita(Sree Swara) who is a working housewife and lives along with her husband, Rajiv(Vaquar) and father in law(Dotiwala). She shares a not-so-happy equation with the old man and is constantly bugged with his habit of calling her by hammering on the table/cup the tiny weapon that he wields in his hand, the Teaspoon. Things turn worse when this unpleasant equation becomes the reason of quarrel in house and turn of events leads to the unthinkable.

Swudzy Review

The performance of all three primary cast members is precise, and you can feel yourself with the character. The direction and writing are top notch and Deohans explores the darker side of the protagonist with ease. The movie wastes no time and is paced evenly throughout. A must watch.
